Web Developer <<>> Location: Bothell, WA

  • We are seeking a Senior Web Developer for the B2C buy flow development team.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the website/web platfrom as we continue to innovate and drive more sales through our channel.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of code using JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and/or Prototype, and relevant coding standards.
  • Lead on discrete development projects and take complete ownership of the front-end technical solution for the project and how it fits into the overall site.
  • Develop accurate level of effort estimates, and manage task schedules.
  • Application design, resolving production issues if they arise.
  • Excellent communication skills that can be used to effectively communicate technical concepts to business teams.
  • Understand consumer customer requirements with respect to its impact to the success of the business goal and be able to translate them to a technical implementation.
  • Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to junior developers.
  • Interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member of the development team in order to accomplish the business goal.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5 + years of front end UI software development experience
  • 3 + years of strong experience in JSP, JSTL tag libraries, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and basic UI – Technologies
  • Coding for accessibility, SEO, and front-end performance
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, technical troubleshooting, and production diagnostic skills.

Additional skills:

  • Object oriented design experience
  • eCommerce application development experience
  • Experience with B2C projects/applications
  • Industry experience in Telecom/Wireless
  • ATG eCommerce, Weblogic, ANT, and SVN experience a plus
