Support Engineer – Wireless Network <> Location: Redmond, WA

• Ethernet to Cell Tier 2 Assistance
• Candidate must have the desire to work in a fast paced, technology driven environment.
• Must also be able to perform multiple functions while operating in a highly visible maintenance capacity supporting a 24×7 team.
• Primary functions include handling escalations, recognizing and responding to network problems, performing triage, KPI analysis and maintenance of the Network, while working in a coordinated effort with other teams/organizations such as NRC , NOC or Network Planning and Engineering.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Three or more years experience in Network Operations, Engineering, IT operations, Network Analysis, product or program management, managing projects with external vendors/partners, experience with wireless networks and services and/or high-tech industry
• Advanced technical knowledge of voice and data products, systems and applications to include the following: IP Routing, Routing Protocols including OSPF and MPLS, ATM and Frame Relay transport, IMA, MSN, RNC and SIAD. Experience with UNIX based platforms and applications
• Strong organizational skills, must be action oriented, result driven and can work with minimal direction
• Attention to detail is important
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite applications and have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be willing to work Day, Evening or Night Shift depending on needs of the business.
